Terms & Conditions – Daily Cruises (includes Lunch & Dinner Cruises)

Cancellation: If you cancel your booking on the Day of departure no refund will be made. If you cancel your booking the day (or more) prior to the day of departure a full refund will be made. If you miss your departure time Murray River Paddlesteamers (MRPS) will endeavor to provide you another cruise time on the same day or another day. Any refund will be at the discretion of Management if another suitable cruise cannot be found.

General: MRPS reserves the right to cancel any cruise due to river & weather conditions, mechanical failure, or that the minimum number of 10 passengers has not been booked prior to departure. The Captain always reserves the right to put ashore any passenger who disrupts the even flow of a cruise; in such a case, no refund is possible. MRPS responsibility does not extend beyond the vessel, and whenever passengers leave it, any arrangements made by them or for them are at their own risk.

Terms & Conditions – Charter Bookings

Cruise Policy

Minimum 1 ½ hour booking applies for charters.

Morrisons Winery drop-off is a minimum 1 ½ hour charter or negotiable on a case by case basis.

Where a commercial cruise may be cancelled or due to time required for you to decorate the vessel, we reserve the right to apply a levy.

Deposit Policy

A deposit of $500.00 is required to secure your booking.

Payment Policy

For catering purposes final numbers must be supplied no later than seven (7) days prior to the date of your charter.  This is the number that you will then pay for.

Final payment is to be made 30 Days (30) days prior to your cruise departing. Adjustments can be made for passenger number advised 7 days prior to your charter.

Decorating Policy

Murray River Paddlesteamers are not responsible for the decorating of the vessel or table decorations prior to the cruise.  If a table layout is requested, Murray River Paddlesteamers will assist with the table layout.  All decorations are to be removed at the conclusion of the cruise.

We usually allow up to 1 hour to set-up the boat.  Extra time is charged at $75.00 per hour.

In the case of a Wedding charter, Murray River Paddlesteamers are able to supply wedding ribbon from the upper deck to the flagpole upon request.

Self-Catering

At the conclusion of your function, all rubbish is to be removed by yourselves. If you choose not to remove your rubbish, a $75 levy will be charged (excluding cans & bottles purchased on-board).

Footwear

Due to the wooden decks on our boats, pencil point (stiletto’s) heel shoes, are not permitted on board.  Therefore, we request alternative footwear is to be worn whilst on board (barefeet is not permitted).

Cancellation Policy

If you cancel your booking outside 30 days prior to departure, an administrative charge is applied of $200.

When a booking is cancelled within 30 days prior to departure, the company reserves the right to retain the full fare.

A few things you should know.

When do we board?

Your charter commences at the agreed departure time. Boarding is fifteen minutes before the scheduled departure.

Getting off?

Whilst we are a little flexible we do request that guests disembark within 20 minutes of berthing so that the crew can perform their post cruise duties.  Thereafter an hourly rate or part thereof will be charged.

Australian Paddlesteamers Pty Ltd Trading As; Murray River Paddlesteamers (MRPS ) reserves the right to cancel any cruise due to environmental conditions or unforeseen circumstances. In the event of a cruise being cancelled prior to departure, an alternative departure date, or vessel, will be offered or a full refund given.

The Captain at all times reserves the right to put ashore any passenger who disrupts the even flow of a cruise. In such a case no refund is possible.

MRPS responsibility does not extend beyond the vessel, and whenever passengers leave it, any arrangements made by them or for them are at their own risk.
